This album is my most intimate thus far. Each song was written based on an extremely personal experience. For some of the songs, I had to go into the darkest, most painful depths of my memories in order to write. There were many tears shed and wounds reopened during the writing process, but it also helped heal old scars. The album title comes from a phrase my friends would say to me any time I needed strength and reassurance. It eventually turned into the title track, which is about holding on when life seems impossible.
Every experience with love has been different for me. Not all are about romantic love. Some are about friendship, and some are about hometown nostalgia. Some are about terrible heartbreak and some are about a new love coming out strong. I want to reach out to anyone who has experienced what I have. Love is universal and I want to share it with you, the good and the bad.
